MASS MOBILE INSPECTIONS provides heavy duty fleets the convenience of in-house inspections. There is no more need for the fleet operator to locate one of the scarce heavy duty inspection stations and send a vehicle with a driver to wait in line for the inspection.
MASS MOBILE INSPECTIONS will be at your facility when you specify. We will inspect your vehicles with your maintenance staff available to correct any defects not detected in your pre-inspection process. Unless the repair is of such a nature that it cannot be repaired immediately, your failure rate can be minimized and/or even eliminated.
You will be provided, in advance, an information gathering and inspection checklist to be filled out for each vehicle.
The information requested on this form is required as part of the inspection. Providing this document, along with a valid registration, will dramatically reduce the time necessary for each inspection. The checklist encompasses those items that must pass inspection. A more comprehensive explanation of each item will also be included to inform you of the minimum requirements as set forth in the regulations.
Once each inspection is complete, a document will be provided summarizing the inspection which you may retain.
MASS MOBILE INSPECTIONS, at the end of the inspection period, will also provide you with a Summary Sheet itemizing each vehicle by plate number, as well as an accounting of time elapsed to perform these inspections.
Remember, MASS MOBILE INSPECTIONS only charges for the time during the actual inspection process. There is no charge for travel time or inspector breaks. However, should there be delays incurred in waiting for repairs or location of vehicles, this time will be included in the chargeable hours.
